THANK YOU, Aunties Aurea and Elizabeth!!!!!!!!!!
The “Twin Aunties Motel” is OUR place in Rio. The Aunties have this one bedroom little apartment next door to their place and offered us to stay there and use it as our very own. With all the privacy and liberty we want. Filling our fridge, baking us pastries, internet, never letting us watch TV because they talk all the time, wishing us all the HAPPINESS in the world.
We know for sure we can count on them for everything we need. Everything! Actually, this time we stayed there, when we came back from Paraty trip, the shower wasnt working so we just had the cold water. We decided not to tell the Aunties as we would be leaving the Twin Aunties Motel a couple of days later (and, besides, they would insist we use their shower).
But, to me, the hardest part of the cold water in the shower wasnt it, itself. The hardest part was finding the cold shower CLOSE to the day my darling and Beloved Husband was leaving to NZ.
Well, I know we will be back to stay there together very soon. Its OUR place!
THANK YOU AUNTIES!!!

Ok, today is January 10th. Considering I will get the plane to Auckland on March 19th, there are 68 days to go. Hopefully the time will RUN fast and I will be in my husband´s arms soon.
OBS: I am so shocked with airlines companies!!! You see, Cameron´s flight to NZ (Aerolineas Argentinas) was supposed to departure at 19:35PM. A.A. sent him an email on the day he was leaving to tell us new departure time: 6:35PM. So, we and our auntie Aurea arrived at the airport at 4:30PM. When we got there, the flights board was saying Cam´s flight (AR 1257) was cancelled. Nobody informed anything about that. We decided to wait at the “check in” line (which was huge!!!) when somebody told us that all the passengers were supposed to get a VARIG flight to Buenos Aires. After we did first part of the check in, we runned to the other terminal for another check in at VARIG counter. Long line again. After Cam crossed the departure at about 7:30PM, he sent me a txt msg telling me the new boarding time was 9PM. At about my 2:00AM, my husband sent me a msg telling the flight arrived 3 hours later than it was supposed to to BA and still he didnt know what would hapen to the passengers. Finally, about my 3:00 AM, Cam sent me another msg letting me know he was finally getting on the to NZ. Very tired, of course….. Its really shocking the way airlines treat the passengers.Well, 68 DAYS! I am so looking forward to see my new kiwi home and help my husband decorate our place.
I am MISSING my husband so much. Oh boy! I want my husband very close to me ASAP! Anyway, we went to Paraty on January 3th to spend two nights and had quite a bit of fun together. We stayed in a very nice little hotel called Laguna Blue which we recommend. Just about 10 rooms, nice swimming pool, clean and comfortable stay. The little hotel is a little bit far from the Historical City Center but this is actually a good opportunity for a walk.
By the way, its so much FUN swimming with my Husband! It was warm when we arrived at the Laguna Blue, so we had a little snack and jumped in the pool. We walked all around the H.C.C and had a delicious pizza for dinner on the first night.
In the following morning we went to a boat trip that lasted about 5 hours, stopped in two islands and two beaches where we jumped into the blue sea and also had nice lunch (fish, rice, salad, potato and shrimp sauce). In the evening we went out to dinner (just simple crepes) and were very exausted when we got back to our hotel.
Love you, my Darling! Love you! You are the LOVE OF MY LIFE!

” I have promisses to keep. And miles to go before I sleep. And miles to go before I sleep…”
I LOVE you, my Cameron.
I look forward to when we’ll be together again. I’m off to New Zealand after having spent three wonderful but unbelievably short weeks with Ana. Out time went faster than I expected. It’s amazing how ones perspective of times passage can vary. Some days drag on and others just seem to fly. In our case, it seems to me, that for all the time we’ve spent apart we just end up treasuring the times we spend together more.
Ana and I will however be meeting once again in the middle of March 2008. I can’t wait.
