YES! I am so happy! Yes yes yes!!!!
For those of you who dont know whats my job: although i am graduated in law and architecture, I have been working as a public servant at the Brasilian federal justice for 10 years. I am what they call “judicial analist”.
To get this job I had to study realy hard for very dificult tests and went through a tough competition against like 20,000 people for only 60 jobs avaliable.
I am hard worker. I know I work well and have a great deal of experience. (enough about me… 
)
At the justice, work have always started at 11hs AM to 19hs PM. But today I got the wonderful news: the council approved the 6 hs schedule. Now, everybody (except for the directors, supervisors and other high positions (they will have to continue to work 8 hs) can choose between work from 11:00hs AM to 5:00hs APM or 12:00hs PM to 18:00hs PM.
There is finally “justice” inside the justice! 
You see, usually, those persons in the highest positions, they get much more money and they manage to work less. For instance, at the court I work, the director works properly (but than he IS the director and gets paid the highest salary) and, besides him, the people (including myself) who doesnt have any special position of command or administration are the ones who really work.
When I told people at my work place about the 6 hs, of course people in the highest position didnt like it! They dont do half of what we do. They will have to stay there working for 8 hours while we can work less hours. They are against the new rules.
Pity……
I am SO HAPPY!
When my husband came o Rio, last April, they let me work only in the morning, but than they kind of managed to make me work all day. I said that I wouldnt, that I already had an agreement with the director, reminded him that I work really well and, if the judge is not happy, so than I would go work to another judge in another court.
