Law of Attraction
Posted by Ana Lucia at 4:42 am in Ana's Musings...

Hi everybody!!

Well, this my Sunday morning, a sunny (and warmer than I would like) Sunday morning.

I am listening to my “Priscilla” soundtrack CD and the songs are so good. Sometimes I forget the very nice CDs I have.

Anyway, I downloaded the book “Ask and its Given” and I am reading it. It pretty much explains everything you always wanted to know but were afraid to ask about the powerful wonderful great LAW OF ATTRACTION!!

Well, I know exactly what I want and I have been spending my morning asking. Of course, my main wish is to live very together with my beloved husband Cameron. And, you may be surprise, dear reader, but to live here in Rio, together with Cam, is not an option. No, no, no, no. I think it would be too dificult for him to adapt. The options would be for us to be living together in New Zealand, Australia (I think it would be fun to live in Melbourne as Cam´s got one of his best friends living there and I already consider Debbie and Gerald my friends as well). Another option is the UK. Well, according to the marvellous Law of Attraction, I just have to keep on thinking that I want Cam and I living together – and visualizing it as if its happening right now – and feeling wonderful about it. The Universe will show me (us) how this wish will manifest. The Universe always knows the fastest, better, easier way to make it happen for us.

In my dream, I imagine that the Law of Attraction will offer me a good job in one of those places, and this place will be as good for Cam, for his current business or to start a new one, or to do whatever he wants to do for work/business. And we will have a child.

Anyway, just to continue my law-of-attraction-visualizing-fun-morning, I will imagine myself shopping at Lush. So, in my mind, this is what I want:

Oh! Just sooooo perfect!

I know this purshase is expensive, BUT this is a virtual purshase and, besides, Law of Attraction tells you to spend at least some imaginary money everyday for your prosperity energy flows. ;)

I have two chicken – cream cheese croisants in the oven and I am watching Jamie´s Scape to Italy. Not so bad!

And now I will continue to read “Ask and Its Given”.

PS: this is Monday morning and its raining :) Which is good because its finally not sooooo hot!

I just spoke to my darling husband (and he went to sleep). I should get ready to work…. :(

Anyway, before I start getting ready to work, I will virtualy buy some Lush itens:

Ok! So now I can start getting ready to work!

Things are getting better

Hello readers!

After a sad annoying weekend (without the internet plus the incident involving my twin aunties and the cousins Vera and Valeria), looks like everything is fixed and getting back into place.

On Tuesday, the guy from broadband provider came here and changed one of the cables, which seems to have been causing all the problem with my internet connection speed. It has been working well since, which is great!!

Besides that, the aunties are expecting me to go have lunch with them today (and hopeful it will be fun for me…. I think it will). They will be traveling to Europe tomorrow for 15 days  suppose. One week in paris and one week in Rome. OMG! I wish Cam and I could come along (I inside aunt Elizabeth bag and Cam inside aunt Aurea´s). We could use a trip like that…. another lovely honeymoon for us.

Speaking about that, I just cant wait to jump into my husband´s arms and make loads of love with him.

Well, we are almost getting to the middle of September and time is (thank God!) running fast! By the way, next week it will be our 2 year 8 months married Anniversary. And, I tell you, Cam and I, we are doing pretty well!

You see, there are so many couples that are separating or just carrying on with their poor relationships….

But we love each other deeply and know for sure how unique and important is our marriage. We know we have found in each other the LOVE of our lives. Cam is the love of my life.

I finished another book last Thursday and started a very interesting book called “Rules Britannia (An Insider´s Guide to Life in the United Kingdom)”. Its been fun to read it, specially because I now know how many things I had no idea about, which no english course would ever teach me and that are so important. It was fun reading some bits to Cam yesterday and listening to his comments.

This week wasnt too bad at work. And this is just because I have been learning my lesson: not worry and do only whats possible, work only the proper hours, doing things in a comfortable speed.

The current president of the federal courts in Rio will retire in December and I hope the new president will have a more positive attitude about working leaves.

Cam´s business will be doing so much better from now on, after having a couple of low months.

Everything will be better. 2009 will be an excellent year for us. This is my hope, my prayer.

Anyway, have to go meet the aunties.

But will be back soon.

Tough weekend

Hello readers!! (hello Karen, our favorite reader!)

I have some things to write about this weekend.

First of all, since my Friday evening, I have no internet. I called broadband provider service and I heard an automatic message saying that the area where I live is having problems which is causing very low internet speed. They say it should be fixed around 12PM, today (Sunday), which I doubt.
So, when I arrived home from work, last Friday (and ALL I wanted was to get online to “be” with my husband) I got so frustrated – no internet! Of course, Cam did everything he could to sheer me up.
Anyway, my Saturday morning: the internet was working (Yay!) and, as Cam was awake until about his 3AM to watch the rugby game (Australia x South Africa), we stayed together online.
Oh! Forgot to mention: it has been raining a lot and nonstop since Friday evening (and the temperature is now about 18ºC, which is cold for Rio standards).
So, when Cam finished to wacth the game and went to bed, I left to have lunch with my twin aunties (Aurea & Elizabeth) as I always do. And, like always, they comfirmed with me that they were waiting for me to arrive at their place aroun 12:30PM. It was raining so much, but I got the bus and wnet to their place. When I arrived there, auntie Aurea opened the door and I could see she wasnt feeling well. She was having one of her usual painful migranes. She got me to sit on the couch, served me some aubergine and palm heart pastries and Coca Cola Zero. She tried to stay there talking to me, but she had to run to the bathroom to throw up every five minute.
So, I got my purse and came back home.
Later on, in the evening, auntie Aurea called to ask if I could go have lunch (like, really, have a proper lunch at their place next Saturday). But auntie Elizabeth didnt have the courtesy to apologise.
Nevermind.
I´ve got some shocking bad news; I have a distant cousin, called Magali. She has been married to Marco for 28 years and they have two hadsome 20 ´something´years sons. They have been always considered the stereotip of a perfect couple in my family. I remember, even my late mother used to remark how perfect they´ve always been. Yesterday auntie Aurea told me they are separated. He´s got a new girlfriend and decided to kick his wife out of his life. But the worse of all is that, even after 28 years married (plus the time they dated before getting married), Marco had absolutely any consideration for Magali as he was cheating on her for a while until she found out he was having an affair (she saw loving messages on his mobile). What a bastard!! What a loser!!!!
Changing the subject, this morning, I was (still I am) SO upset because of the internet that I woke up my 5AM (so anxious) and started to organize my wardrobe and shelves in my room. Cam called me and made me feel better. Like me husband always do.
Also, he had such a great idea to cheer me up: he called Ben & Karen (our favorite reader;) )
and we had a conference call. It was so much fun! Thank you my darling husband!!!!
So, this morning I went to the chemist and bought nice soaps and shower gels. Then I went to the natural foods shop and bought dried tomatoes and mozzarella croissants which I will have for lunch.
Well…. its almost 12. NO damned internet whatsoever!!!!!! God!!!! I am losing my nerves here!!!
