I am NOT going raw!

Hello beautiful readers!

After a little while trying to become a raw foodist, I (sadly) came to the conclusion that I can´t live on raw foods.

But it´s not that I dont want to, because I would love to eat only raw foods.

I mean, after reading so so so many books on the subject and getting to know all the absolute AMAZING benefits (like being trim, young, glowing skin, glossy hair, bright eyes and clear mind…), its impossible not to fall for the idea.

If only I lived in Los Angeles… Oh, my! That´s the place to be if you are a raw foodist. The city has a raw restaurant in every corner, they have hips of organic markets and loads of raw food shops.

Mind you, I live in Brazil where tha “natural fruit” shops secretly put sweetner in their fruit juices and smoothies.

… to be continued

Now,  finishing this post:

Cam and I, we are absolutely sure they add sweetener to the fruit juices here in Rio.

Anyway, after reading quite a few books and doing many researches online, I´ve come to the conclusion that, first of all, moderation is key (everything – even moderation – in moderation – makes your life better). Eat as many fruit and greens as you can. Eat as many raw vegetables as you can. Never overeat protein and fat. Give your body at least 4 hours between meals so that it can digest food properly.

Yesterday I told my husband so throw the artificial sweeteners away as I found out they are as bas as poison….

Exercise is SO IMPORTANT!!! We are both doing Walk Away the Pounds and I´m sure we are going to see good results. Thats all! :)

Our Anniversary and other things
Posted by Ana Lucia at 3:26 pm in Ana's Musings...

Hello readers!

I am sorry for not writing as much as I should and as I would like to (as I really love this wonderful little Blog).

Anyway, today – Tuesday October 13th, Brasil time – its our 3years and 9 months Anniversary! Yay!! Congratulations for us!

Rio 2008 December 307And to make things even better, yesterday I purchased my tickets to fly to NZ next Easter!

It feels wonderful knowing when I will be getting the plane to be with my husband.

And it feels amazing to know that, next December 18th, he will be arriving here, in Rio.

I would like to post a couple of pictures of these lovely children:

Tomorrow I will start a 3 day training course at work. All the supervisors and directors at the courts must do this training. I dont mind doing it, but its going to happen in a building which is in a terrible location downtown. Plus, the course starts at 11:30AM and goes up to 6:30PM.

I am cointinuing writing the post and its my Saturday morning.

When I woke up I saw something WONDERFUL: my husband sent me the most amazing awesome message!!! He wrote:

“  You lie there and I’m watching you.

All I want to do is snuggle up and SQUEEZE you. Hug you, and kiss you, and caress you.

I just want to LOVE you…

…and I DO.”

Also, I would like to you guys the lovely dinner table (and chairs) we got from the Parkers:

Oh, Oh ….

I couldnt upload the pictures because the files are too big…. Nevermind. Now we can have romantic dinners (with candle lights and everything) in our table. And breakfasts and lunches…. We will make good use of it thats for sure!

Now, take a look at this cute, I mean CUTE, little dogs:

Doesnt it make you happy  to look at these pictures?!

I had a different working week, last week. Thats because I had a course on Wednesday to Friday. The location was absolutely SHIT! But its was nice not having to stress about work and meet nice new friends, having lunch and being able to not worry about time or anything. But next Monday I will be back to the old routine.

Also (and I MUST remember this), NEXT Monday morning I will be sorting out my new passaport :) ! And I´ve already purchased my plane tickets to go to New Zealand next Easter!!! Yay!!!!!! YES! YES! YES!

Time is going fast fast fast and my beloved husband will be arriving here on Dec 18th!!!! LOADS of happiness for us!!!

By the way, if you guys are interested in raw food, I found an Ozzie girl who makes a pretty cool Video Blog. Check it out. She is so cool:

She mentions about a book (well she mentions loads of books) which I think could be very interesting. Its called “The 80/10/10 Diet”, by Dr. Douglas N. Graham 801010

Anyway, have to go have lunch with my twin aunties. I will continue the post….
